Monogrammed Tassel Bracelet

Oh my goodness you guys! Today I opened up my mailbox and got the best surprise!

If you know me, you know how much I love monograms. My car has a monogram sticker, my bedroom and closet are filled with monograms. Basically I am obsessed. I even have a Pinterest board specifically for monograms.

My favorite website to buy monogrammed items at is most definitely Marley Lilly. They have literally the best stuff ever. Plus when you order things, they give you the option to also receive two really cute stickers! In my opinion, it does not get much better than that.

The bracelet I received today is a gold chain with my monogram and a burnt orange tassel (which comes in multiple other colors of course)!

I am so so so excited to wear this bracelet (probably everyday).  It is going to look so cute with chunky sweaters, jeans, and boots and will go with practically everything! :)

The bracelet is actually on sale right now for only $19.99 (what a deal!)
And just to let you know- Marley Lilly is constantly having flash sales with amazing deals!

Disclaimer:
I was sent this product by Marley Lilly for free.  I have been meaning to buy it though and really am a huge fan of Marley Lilly (even before the free stuff). I only blog about brands that I sincerely support and love. :)

Five Halloween Costume DIY's

Halloween is right around the corner and I am sure you guys are already thinking of costumes. These are five cute DIY's with things you probably have in your closet.  They are great for Halloween parties or passing out candy at your house. Enjoy!

#1: Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn is one of the most iconic fashionistas. She is a timeless beauty with timeless style. This costume consists of things you probably have in your closet: a LBD and black heels (or flats).  If you don't own pearls you can find very inexpensive ones at a costume store.  I assuming you don't have  black gloves, but these can be found online or in a costume store as well.  To get Audrey's look, wear a topknot and winged eyeliner.

#2: Queen Elsa
Frozen is arguably one of my favorite movies from this past year.  A Halloween DIY would not be complete without at least one costume from Frozen. Queen Elsa wears such beautiful outfits throughout the movie so I thought she would be fun to DIY. To look like Elsa, you need blue and white lace items, white shoes, and white gloves.  Try to find some snowflake themed things like the earrings below. If you want you kind find some blue fabric (maybe with glitter...) and a crown too.  Make sure to wear sparkly blue eyeshadow and braid your hair like Elsa's.  And then you can let it go....

#3: Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has been rocking some seriously amazing outfits as of lately.  She is obsessed with crop tops and skirts.   She has also recently been toting her cat Olivia Benson with her. You probably own all of these things in the costume (maybe not the stuffed animal white cat though). To get the look just wearing a crop top, skirt (even better if it is the same pattern as the top), pumps, and a (stuffed animal) white cat. Make sure to wear your hair in loose curls.  Go with winged eyeliner and a nude lip.

#4: Chic Candy Corn
Hi yes, it is possible to look like chic candy corn.  This look is really simple and so so cute.  Just wear a white top, an orange skirt (or jeans or shorts) and yellow shoes.  To look really chic I would wear a pretty skirt and pumps.  You can do whatever you want with your hair, but a topknot would be cute because it looks like the top point of the candy corn.  If you are bold, go for some orange lipstick.

#5: Cher Horowitz from Clueless
So in my opinion, Cher is probably the most iconic teenage character in any 90s movie. I am pretty much obsessed with her.  There are tons of takes on this costume (due to all the outfits in the movie), but this is my version. Wear a plaid skirt and thigh high black or white socks. Then add things you probably have in your own closet: a white button down, a black cardigan, and black flats or loafers. If you want you can wear a headband and carry around a fluffy pen.  Make sure to wear your hair down and straight.  Go for very natural make up like Cher.  AS IF!

I hope you enjoyed these costume ideas and found them helpful!
Stay tuned for more Halloween DIY's coming soon!
Much love,
Grace

Homecoming Looks

Hi you guys! So my homecoming dance is coming up in about three weeks, but I now that many people have theirs very soon.  I thought it would be helpful to give you fashionistas some dress, makeup, shoe, accessory, and hair ideas. Enjoy!

This outfit is great for a glamorous girl that loves her LBD's!  It is a really fun outfit.  The cut outs in the dress are stunning with the fun shoes and bold statement necklace. It would look great with a gold or black clutch. This outfit would be perfect with a smokey eye and a nude lip.  I would personally wear my hair in a pretty topknot or down in big curls.

This outfit is so so pretty. I think it is gorgeous for a girly girl that loves pink and glitter.  It would look great with dramatic lashes and hair in a low bun with curly pieces framing the face.

This outfit is a very classic look.  It is just pretty and at the same time very sexy without showing a lot of skin. It would look great parked with winged black eyeliner and loose curls.  Red is such a beautiful color on so many people, but especially brunettes.

This outfit is great for just about anyone.  It would be flattering on all body types.  It is such a beautiful navy dress and I love the pretty top.  It reminds me of a dark night sky filled with stars.  I would pair it with a navy smokey eye and a low bun with curls framing the face.

This outfit is great for a girly girl that loves pink.  It also be great for an edgy girl if you wore some black studded shoes and added some edgy earrings.  I would wear a smokey eye and my hair in loose curls.

I love this look.  The dress is absolutely killer.  It looks very grecian to me.  It would be pretty with brown eyeliner and a natural, light pink lip.  I would wear it with a grecian, braided looking updo.

I hope you enjoy these looks and find them helpful!

Much love,
Grace

Friday Night Lights

High School Football Game Looks

Hi you guys! I have been super busy with school, but I though I would make a post on the fine saturday afternoon.  So I live in Texas and high school football is a very big deal here.  I thought I would help y'all with someone outfits for those friday night lights.

Oh and my school colors are blue, red, and white so I am going to incorporate them into these outfits, but obviously if your school has different colors you can change these outfits to work for you.

This first outfit is great for the first few games of the season when it is still super hot outside. It is cute and casual. This outfit is totally insta-worthy too.
Ok this next outfit is a very popular one for Southern girls. A dress and cowboys boots is always cute.
If your boyfriend or homecoming date is on the football team, it is really cute to write his number on your cheek!
This third outfit is very casual, but at the same time shows school spirit without being over the top. I love this outfit and it is definitely something I would wear.  If it is cold outside I would add a scarf, a coat, and boots!

This final look is great for a very cold game (and a very dedicated girl). This is actually just a good cold weather outfit in general.

Thank you so much for reading!
Much love,
Grace

How to Dress Up a T-Shirt

Hi there! I am so sorry I haven't posted as often. My school starts tomorrow so as you can imagine it is incredibly hectic right now. I thought this would be a great post, especially for back to school! I am definitely a t-shirt kind of girl. I am always wearing them and trying to find ways to make them look a little nicer and cuter!

The first outfit is very comfortable and great for school. I am really into envelope shorts right now and I love the color of this one! I also am seriously loving this J. Crew tee that says "Endless Summer" in French. The perfect way to make this fun is to throw on some great shoes and a classic pearl necklace. You can always throw on a denim jacket if think you might get cold (for example: at school).

This next outfit is so cute. I am beyond obsessed with this shirt!! I think this is such a comfy outfit and again is great for school or a busy day. The basic idea is that you can throw on any t shirt with some jeans and boots and add a statement necklace to make it look nicer & BAM! a cute outfit.
This next outfit is just amazing. The idea is that you can throw on just about any dress and wear a t shirt over it (I would probably know it by my waist). I paired this with converse and this Burberry backpack!  This is a great way to get more use out of a summer or spring dress.

OK this next outfit is perfect for any plain t shirt (actually all of these outfits have been, but especially this one). This is so so great for school or hanging out with friends. I just took a basic light pink shirt and paired it with a pretty pleated skirt. I would personally wear it with converse and this fun denim jacket! Oh and make sure to tuck in the shirt a little bit in the front or completely tuck it in.

Finally this last outfit is how to dress up a basic striped t shirt (you should know I am obsessed with striped shirts). This outfit is full of things just about everyone has in their closets. Take your striped shirt and wear it with (just about any) skirt, boots, and a cardigan! If it is cold- wear tights. If it is hot- loose the cardigan. Such a cute outfit. You can play around with different colors and styles and always have a cute outfit!

Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful! Please comment or email me if necessary!

Much love,
Grace
